Woodchopper's Breakdown

I first heard this tune as played by the all-time great Missouri fiddler Pete McMahan of Harrisburg. I later heard Cyril Stinnett of Oregon, MO, playing the tune and took such a liking to his rendition that I tried to learn it as close as I could to his version. This tune has been very popular in Canada and may have originally come to Missouri from via the grooves of some Canadian fiddle record or other.  I think Cyril actually learned it from a K-Tel (as seen on TV!) LP called 25 Old-Tyme Fiddle Hits.  Crazy, man.
